Knowles Centre opens first ever Silent Auction

Thanks to community support, we have pulled together a silent auction to raise funds for the needed renovations at the John G Stewart Outdoor Education Centre. The camp requires modernization to ensure health and safety for youth.

Giving youth the opportunity to experience the healing power of nature is the goal of going to this camp. Often youth in care miss out on this opportunity due to logistics and red tape of signing up to one of the many youth camps in the community. And these camps, while wonderful, do not always accomodate the behaviourial and emotional challenges that traumatized youth live with.
