Therapist Position

FULL TIME - 40 hours per week

The therapist provides direct assessment and treatment services to youth and their caregivers/families and will provide group facilitation.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Clinical experience working with youth and families
• Excellent assessment and counselling skills
• Group Facilitation Skills and Experience
• Experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral and mental health struggles
• Experience with individual therapy and family therapy
• Understanding, training and experience in trauma and trauma informed practices
• An understanding of colonization, intergenerational trauma, and Indigenous practices.
• Knowledge and experience in the areas of mental health and grief and loss
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills
• The ability to work both independently and flexibility

A Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy) and Registration is required.

The therapist will have a supportive and enthusiastic team environment and will have a private office, all located on our scenic campus. The therapist will receive regular supervision.

Knowles Centre is committed to providing a safe environment for children and youth. The successful applicant will have a clear Criminal Record Check, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks, and Prior Contact Check.

Salary: $63,460.80 to $77,292.80
